KSM Hotel Marketing Contest winner Yasmine!!

Congratulations to Yasmine for winning the Kings School of Media marketing Contest and a brand new IPad Mini!!  As a school we were commissioned by a Local Hotel (formerly Beit Yehuda Hotel) to come up with new branding their facility as they were remodeling from 2 star to 4.5 star rating.  The owner of the Hotel awarded a IPad Mini for the student with the best name.  The competition was really tough, they went up against some of the top marketing firms in Israel!  In the end our students produced a ton of really good Hotel Brands to pick from.  Congrats on the win Yasmine!

Pro Life Israel – Israeli commercial campaign

We would like to share with you the last class project summer of 2012 for the Israeli pro-life organization, Be’ad Chaim.   Our students were commissioned to produce a international promo and 2 30 sec Commercials to air on Israeli TV.  Our class dug in and studied into the culture and produced some incredibly powerful ads.  The situation with Abortion is extremely grim in Israel, pray that these ads along with the work of Be’ad Chaim can save lives!

KSM Oscars Film Contest 2013

Kings School of Media hosted their first, annual Oscars night! Both KSM students and members of The King of Kings Young adults group worked together to create and present short films based on scripture. Our teams did an incredible job with no budget and only 3 weeks to produce the films from concept to completion! The evening fell in conjunction with Purim, so participants and guests were invited to dress up and enjoy the show. We began with dinner, while guests took photos in the photo booth and mingled while watching the 2013 Oscars playing in the background. After dinner, the crowd gathered to watch the films and the award ceremony, where winners received Mini Oscar awards. We then awarded the film teams with Best picture, Best cinematography and other award categories.

Kings School of Media presents the story of Avishai Pinchas, a man whose faith in G-d lead him to take extreme measures and do what was humanly foolish to completely a heavenly calling. Recognized in the 168 Film Festival in LA as Best Short Documentary, Desert Ark is a story of how one man heard the voice of G-d and acted on it to impact the lives of 8 refugee families fleeing for their lives from Sudan and Egypt. The film was shot, edited, and mastered here in Israel.

Beit Yehuda Commercial

At Kings School of Media, the 3rd semester students are currently editing a commercial for a hotel located in Jerusalem near the Biblical Zoo called Beit Yehuda, which they filmed last week. The owner of this particular hotel has been a huge supporter of King of Kings for a long time now and we really just wanted to bless him. We were so excited to be able to kick the year off right away with a project like this! The goal of this project was to make a commercial for this hotel that stood out from the rest of the plain commercials that we see out there – and the students rose to the task! KSM 2012 Graduation

We couldn’t be prouder of our students that graduated on June 15th 2012. What amazing kids! Peter Friedlander, David Sekiguchi, Viivi Nuoraho and Wael Khoury are some of the most passionate and hardworking people we know and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for their lives! It has been an adventure, but we all have to say goodbye at some point, right? They will definitely be missed.

New semester started at KSM 13 students strong!

Kings School of Media started it’s fall 2011 semester with many fresh new faces from all over Israel and even as far as Fiji!  We’ve been busy gearing up for the ELAV confrence getting ready, so we decided to relax a bit and getting to know the new students at our apartment for a shabbat dinner at sunset.  God has really blessed us with some tallented and driven students, and I’m sure this year is going to be epic!

Kings School of Media – Graduation – Class of 2011

 

June 15–First Graduating Class of KSM 2011:
Four students graduated from our 2 year program and we are excited to see what God will be doing in them and through them in the future. By God’s Grace we have seen much fruit and breakthroughs, but still we are pressing in and praying for greater breakthroughs.  Already our students are flooded with job offers, one is even in Chicago working on the next Superman film!  We’re really excited to see what they’ll do in the next few years!  We also had the premiere of “Before the Shabbat” their final class Short Film.
